Nohfelden municipality
In the municipality of Nohfelden, water plays an important role. Apart from the fact that the source of the river Nahe can be found here, the Bostalsee leisure centre featuring southwest Germany’s largest recreational lake provides a wide range of options for activities on and by the water.

“Bosener Mühle”, an art centre in a former mill, offers a variety of courses and exhibitions for anyone interested in art and history. Nohfelden‘s museum for fashion and traditional costumes showcases garments of the past.
Active types can explore the nearby network of cycling and hiking trails, such as the Nahe cycling trail oder the “Bärenpfad” trail. Parts of the municipality are part of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
